All buildings have a number of services such as electricity, water, heat, ventilation, cooling and lighting that allow the building to be used effectively. Some of these services, such as power, water, temperature, humidity and security are very important factor in building which needs to be continuously monitored. A building with air conditioning, Temperature and power supply can have all services controlled individually on a room-by-room basis. However, as buildings get larger, the efficiency of individual control rapidly drops. Beyond the inefficiencies of people leaving lights or temperature control devices turned on in their absence, you can find parts of the building working against each other to monitor the environment. For example without humidity correction, inside air can reach 25 percent RH in winter and respiratory and skin problems can increase, due to the drying of skin tissue and mucous membranes. Or in other result of the unexpected inhabitants is that the room becomes stuffy. A short circuit could occur a power loss in a building. A water leakage in a tank would be wastage of water. Or door security alarm and a motion detector would prevent unauthorized intrusion. Sensors would usually sense and notify alert messages of temperature being high / low, humidity levels, voltage drop and water leakage can be easily notified being elsewhere in a building. The benefit of the system reporting such potential problems is reducing the need for regular human inspection of often difficult to access in huge buildings.
